THANK
YOU!
It is with a great
deal of pride that we at Festa Italiana,
now in our 29th year, point out that what
we celebrate boils down to certain
fundamentals: God, family, community and a
love of our country mixed with nostalgia
for "the old country" that was home to our
ancestors. We also have the good fortune
to share a cultural heritage that
emphasizes "family" gathered at home
sharing good food together.
With that in mind,
once again, we'd like to thank our
volunteers. Festa Italiana is a completely
volunteer - driven, 501(c)
(not-for-profit) organization and a
festival of this magnitude can only be
produced by community support and
financial generosity. Whether your
contribution is donating your time or some
badly needed cash, it is a vital building
block of Festa Italiana Seattle, so THANK
YOU for your donations and your
enthusiasm!
Would you like to make a
donation to Festa?

Want to
explore your Italian
ancestry? Love to play Bocce?
Do you wish to be up close and personal with
famous chefs? Festa
Italiana has just the opportunity for you!
Each year, during the
last week of September, our wonderful Festa
is celebrated and enjoyed by thousands of
people like yourself.
Not surprisingly,
hundreds of volunteers work for months to
bring this celebration together. Planning
this event begins in early in the Spring
with dedicated volunteers and event chairs.
Our general planning meetings are open to
all interested and are entertaining by
themselves. Come meet great people with a
passion for "All Things Italian"...share a
glass of wine and ideas.
Plenty of volunteers are needed in many areas: Have a spare hour? Come cook Italian sausages, help clean tables, work in the souvenir booth or welcome guests to Le Arti della Festa Art show. Have lots of spare hours? We can find an activity for you to chair!
Every year, we hold an annual volunteer meeting in September. This is where we meet new volunteers, encourage volunteers to sign up for specific activities, talk about any changes for that year, and pass out volunteer T-Shirts. Anyone and everyone is invited.
These meetings are held in the school hall at St. Patrick's Church, 2702 Broadway East, Seattle, WA 98102 (at the intersection of I-5 and SR 520). Need more information? Please email us at info@FestaSeattle.com
or call our office at (206) 282-0627
